Barcelona is a vibrant city full of life, ideal for exploring by bike. With more than 300 km of bike lanes and a pleasant climate all year round to fully enjoy, exploring its streets on two wheels is a unique experience. We suggest three cycling routes that will allow you to discover the essence of the city by pedalling comfortably and safely.
Route along Barceloneta and the maritime front

- Distance: 7 km
- Difficulty: Easy
- Points of interest: Olympic Port, Barceloneta Beach, Parc de la Ciutadella, Arc de Triomf
This route is ideal for those looking for a relaxed ride by the sea. It starts at the Olympic Port and follows the bike lane parallel to the beach. Enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere of Barceloneta, with its restaurants and beach bars perfect for a stop. Continue towards Parc de la Ciutadella, a green oasis in the city center, and finish at the majestic Arc de Triomf.

Modernist Route through the Eixample

- Distance: 5 km
- Difficulty: Easy

For lovers of art and architecture, this route is an essential tour of Barcelona’s modernist gems. It starts from Plaza Cataluña and takes the Passeig de Gràcia bike lane, where you can admire Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. Then, continue towards Avenida Diagonal until you reach the emblematic Sagrada Familia, where you can take a break and marvel at Gaudí’s masterpiece.

Route through Montjuïc and its viewpoints
