Experience the magic of tablao in Barcelona

It is a style of song, music and dance strongly influenced by the gypsies, but which has its deepest roots in Moorish musical traditions. Flamenco culture originated in Andalusia (Spain), however, it has since become one of the icons of Spanish music and even of Spanish culture in general. If you are traveling to Barcelona, and you want to go deeper into its culture, I leave you these recommendations to enjoy a good tablao:

Flamenco Tablao Cordobes

This is one of the best known tablaos in Barcelona due to the fact that its doors opened many years ago. It is a highly recommended show for those who are looking for a perfect combination of gastronomy and entertainment in Barcelona. The food is very good and the staging is excellent, not to mention the exceptional attention of the staff. As for the show, the passion and dedication of the artists on stage make each performance unique and immersive. In addition, it is located in the Rambla area so access is easy. Definitely an option that you should consider both to enjoy and to give an unforgettable moment.

In addition, recently the same tablao opened a new place called El Duende is a small place, which makes it a cozy and charming space. The show has the same quality and emotion of the Cordobés. No doubt, a true sample of what Spanish flamenco is in its maximum expression. A highly recommended place to enjoy a genuine experience.

Los Tarantos

This artistic show will give you an unforgettable experience. They have impressive performances by dancers, singers and guitarists that capture the essence of traditional flamenco. The entrance fee includes a drink, on the other hand, you can also eat on site if you wish. With different schedules available, you have the possibility to easily find an option that suits any trip. In addition, its location is in Plaça Reial where you can explore and enjoy the surroundings before or after the show. This is a highly recommended experience for those visiting Barcelona.

Another recommendation I can give is:

The Palau Dalmeses

known among tourists, they offer a beautiful flamenco show. It is located in carrer de Montcada, ciutat vella. Personally I find the space divine, the structure is very beautiful; but beyond that, the quality of the dance and the artists is worth every euro. Normally the entrance fee includes drinks, but they have the option of dinner or tapas. They also have an art gallery that you can tour at the end of the show.

Although today I’m emphasizing these specific places, I can assure you that throughout the city of Barcelona there are other places that offer great flamenco experiences, such as: Flamenco Barcelona SL, or Barcelona y Flamenco. So if you are looking to get into the Spanish culture, don’t hesitate to save this article.
